- Allison paints in Southern Pines, NC and Bald Head Island, NC. She loves to paint portraits and is constantly reading, practicing and learning portrait painting techniques in order to capture the beauty she sees in those she paints. Her paintings can be seen on the web on her Facebook page Allison D McLean Fine Art and in her etsy store. In Southern Pines, her paintings can be seen at Eye Candy Gallery on Broad Street. She has entered two competitions and won First Place, People's Choice award at the juried Tunes, Tales and Tapestries show in Scotland County, NC and third place in oils at the Moore County Fine Arts Festival.
